Greetings,

Rimini at ALBINOLEFFE
It is Rimini's offense that should be feared, yet defense
has tightened up tremendously with one goal allowed in
last 5 games. Definitely form in positive ascending slope,
with enough firepower at offense and midfield to control
flow and outcome of game. Albinoleffe will have plenty of
difficulty, should they decide to play back, and let this
opponent (hungry for Serie A graduation) come to them.
Rimini PK -113 (8.5 units)

Genoa at CROTONE - Warning, ball is round and does mucho
weirdness in wind, rain, or sleet. Translation: have yet to figure
out how they (Crotone), managed to loose to 2-1 (2 weeks ago)
to depleted Albinoleffe, and come back a week later, and beat
Napoli 2-1. Something to consider: Genoa has lost two straight
only once this year. Crotone has allowed 14 goals in last 8 games
- which means nothing has changed defensively...
Superior offensive team could have their way against Crotone
in both halves.
Genoa PK -115 (4.5 units)
Genoa over 2 and 2.5 +116 (3.5 units)

Frosinone at BOLOGNA
Frosinone has failed to score in last four games, and defense has
been spanked badly allowing 10 goals in three games. As stated often,
not a fan of the big favourite, but host could take control early, as
offense will dictate pace against totally deflated visistor. Besides, with
Napoli playing Juventus, opportunity to climb the standings will provide
necessary motivations.
BOLOGNA -1 -111 (4.5 units)
BOLOGNA over 2 and 2.5 +104 (4 units)

US Pescara at TREVISO
Following minor surge in the postive direction, Pescara has returned to their losing ways. A trip to Treviso today, a home game against Juventus next week, and the "Momentary lap of reason" scenario comes to play. Both line and total are completely acceptable.
TREVISO -0.5 -108 (6.5 units)
TREVISO over 2 and 2.5 +110 (8 units)

Bari at SPEZIA
Bari pk and +0.5 +112 (4 units)

Best of luck,

MA

Rescheduled - trying to keep up with Serie A&B time changes is much like when Columbian police were hunting Pablo Escobar's hiding places. Just when you thought they had him, he had just changed location.

Message for ANTONIOLI: In response to your question about AS Roma's formation (see: starting line-up vs LYON, which produced 2-0 victory)

Nonetheless, I feel more comfortable when the following are on the pitch at the same time:

(4)Defense: Chivu, Panucci, Mexes, --

(4)Midfield: De Rossi, Pizarro,Perrotta, --

(1) Totti

(1) Mancini

Cheers,

and good luck.

I am thinking about putting some $$$ on Manchester United to win the Champions League. The only team I am nervous about is AC Milan. Are they strong contenders?

IS,

The true hurdle for Man U is Roma, and not AC Milan. A comparison at every position indicates that AC Milan is only stronger in Goal. On defense
and midfield, Roma has superior speed and depth. Totti is having one of his most balanced seasons, and, could make a statement on the Tratford pitch. In my imbalanced opinion, feel that game at L'Olimpico is a true under. Truly, this series could very well be decided by one goal. If Roma
loses at L'Olimpico by probable 1-0 score, the series could be toast. I see first leg 0-0, after that, game at Tratford will turn out to be just as intense as Lyon match.

AC Milan: AC still has some pull with the refs on the home court. You would think that, following last year Serie A scandals, refs would have learned a thing or two. AC budget is so high, that refs are still impartial
and succumb to pressure with close calls in favour of Milan. Defense is slow and aging, just like pudgy Ronaldo. Only true gems are Kaka, Gilardino, and Pirlo. Will probably play against them, on the road.

As I have a tendency to lose my shirt in Champions action, I will try to do it in honest fashion by probably selecting Roma and Bayern to advance to the next round.

good luck,

MA
